Despite this, Andy’s off-court life also shines brightly, now with his growing family adding joy and inspiration to his journey both on and off the court.

How many children does Andy Murray have?

Andy Murray shares four children with his wife Kim.

The sportsman and Kim, née Sears, who is the daughter of leading British tennis coach Nigel, married in April 2015.

They met at a party for the US Open in 2005, when Kim was travelling with her father.

In 2006 Andy made their relationship public when he kissed her after winning his first ever tournament in San Jose, California.

The couple hosted their wedding at Dunblane Cathedral, near to where Andy grew up in Scotland.

The couple now live in a £5million house in Surrey with their children and dogs.

Kim grew up in Balcombe and attended the same school as This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby.

If my [children] find their passion and are able to live their lives fulfilling that passion, then that would make me happy.

Andy has previously spoken of his delight at being watched from the stands by his kids – though made clear they are under no pressure to follow their dad into a tennis career.

He said: “If my [children] find their passion and are able to live their lives fulfilling that passion, then that would make me happy.”

However, he revealed in an interview that his eldest daughter plays tennis once a week.

Two of his kids will unfortunately not be able to watch him play at Wimbledon 2024 due to age-restriction rules.

His youngest may have to stay backstage as under-fives are not able to access show courts.

How old are Andy Murray’s children?

Andy, who reportedly has a net worthof £130million, welcomed his first child with wife Kim in 2016, making her eight years old as of 2024.

Their second came in November 2017 and is turning seven at the end of 2024.

Andy’s third child was born in October 2019, making him five now.

The tennis star’s fourth child was born in 2021 after a secret lockdownpregnancy and turned three in 2024.

Andy’s eldest daughter is called Sophia and has the middle name Olivia.

After his wife Kim gave birth to their second daughter, they named the little girl Edie.

Next for the pair came a son, who Andy and Kim called Teddy.

Teddy, the pair’s only boy, was given the middle name Barron.

The couple’s youngest daughter and fourth child is called Lola.
