Who is Taylor Fritz?
Taylor Fritz, born October 28, 1997, is an American professional tennis player.
He is the son of former players Kathy May, ranked 10th in the world in 1977, and Guy Fritz, ranked 301st in the world in 1978.
In 2022, the tennis star reached his first Grand Slam singles quarter finals at Wimbledon.
A year prior, in 2021, Fritz reached his first ATP 1000 semi-finals at the Indian Wells Masters.
The following year in 2022, he won the tournament, beating Rafael Nadal in the final.
In June of the same year, Fritz won the Eastbourne International, defeating Maxime Cressy.
In 2023 he reached the quarter final of the US Open.
In 2024 Fritz got to the quarter final of the Australian Open, and the 4th round of the French Open.
When did he meet his girlfriend Morgan Riddle?
As well as achieving sporting success, the tennis star has also been lucky in love – finding romance with girlfriend Morgan Riddle.
Riddle, who is a model and influencer from Minnesota, started dating Fritz in June 2020.
The couple met on a dating app during lockdown– and Riddle readily admits she knew nothing about tennis until she started dating the World No9.
She told SunSport: “I didn’t know anything about tennis before I met Taylor.
“It’s really fun watching Taylor during the matches because now I understand what’s happening during, which is a big plus and definitely makes it more enjoyable but it can be nerve-wracking.”
As of July 2024, the social media sensation has almost 300k followers on Instagram and over 490k followers on TikTok.
In July 2023, Riddle shared behind-the-scenes videos of Wimbledon, mixing fashion with her new passion – tennis.

As of July 2024, Taylor Fritz is 13th in the ATP rankings.
His highest ranking – in February 2023 – was 5th.
