Katie Smith is a news reporter for BBC Sport.

She is best known for her work on BBC 5 Live, but is part of the Beeb’s commentators team for Paris 2024.

Katie is one of two presenters who are looking after the coverage of the rowing at the Olympics.

She has received high praise on social media for her commentary, with one fan writing: “Loving the brilliant commentary from you & Mo. Second best to being there.”

While another said: “Gold Medal Commentary on the Women’s Quad just now.”

Before Paris 2024, Katie was giving her take on the action at Wimbledon.

She was also one of the commentators at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

Moe Sbihi is a former Team GB athlete

Moe Sbihi brings his expertise to Paris 2024, having been on the Team GB rowing squad himself.

He competed at his first Olympic Games in London 2012 and was part of the British crew that won the bronze medal in the eight.

In 2013, he was part of the men’s eight that won gold at the World Rowing Championships.

He won two gold medals in the coxless four in 2014 — at the European Rowing Championships in Belgrade and the World Championships in Amsterdam.

Moe was part of the GB coxless four at the Rio 2016 Olympics that won the gold medal in the event — Britain’s fifth consecutive win.

For the Paris 2024 Olympics he’s taken on a new challenge altogether as a pundit.

How many medals have Team GB won so far for rowing?

Team GB have smashed the rowing events so far and have won a whopping six medals.

The UK has taken gold twice at the Games, and has taken silver twice as well.

Team GB also has two bronze medals as well.
